DIRECTIONS AND PARKING 

Directions: The First Lutheran Church Sanctuary is
located at 181 Western Avenue, although the building we will be meeting in
is behind the Church at 646 State Street. (Note: This is a "hidden" portion
of State Street, not connected to the stretch the runs from Washington Park
down to the Capitol.)From the Capitol: Take Washington Ave west (Rte 5).
Turn slightly left onto Washington where it meets Central Ave. Stay straight
onto Western Ave. Go past the SUNY Downtown Campus on your right. 
The Church is located after Lake Avenue but before Quail Street on Western Ave.
After Lake Avenue, take the first right turn onto Cortland Place with an
immediate left turn into the Church parking lot. 

From Thruway West: Exit 24 (Northway 87), take Western Avenue exit (Route 20).
Exit left onto Western Avenue. Follow Western Ave past SUNY Albany and State 
Government campus on left. When road divides, stay left on Western and follow 
past College of St. Rose. The Church is on your left, just past Quail Street.
After you pass the Church, turn left onto Cortland Place, with an immediate left
turn into the Church parking lot. Parking: Use the Church Parking Lot, which you
enter from Cortland Place, off Western Avenue
